Electrometallurgy is an important branch of metallurgy which uses electrical energy in winning of metals from leach liquors and refining of crude metals obtained via the pyrometallurgical or hydrometallurgical routes.
It involves the use of electric and electrolytic processes to purify metals and is commonly employed at the end of the metals extraction chain, resulting in final metal recovery with high purity.
Over the years, metal electro-deposition (ED) became a commercially highly relevant technology, providing the basis for large scale industrial process. In general, metallic film are formed onto the surface of cathode through the electrochemical reduction of dissolved metal ions present in the aqueous solution containing metal salts.
Nevertheless, a clean and efficient electrolysis process relies mostly on a reliable inert anode. Our titanium-based electrodes with mixed metal oxides coating are the best way to meet the requirements of sustainability in the aspects of environmental compatibility, economic viability, and energy efficiency.

Long Service Coating
Using state-of-the-art technology, the titanium base is taken to a high temperature ( ≥1200 °C) in a vacuum sintering furnace ensuring total adhesion of the coating. Thus, the coating consumption rate is extremely low and uniform, measured in milligrams per ampere-year.
