Quality Substrate Material
Our MMO rod anode is manufactured from high-tensile titanium rod, which meets ASTM B265 Grade 1 standards.
Noble Metal Oxide Coating
The Ir–Ta (IrO2/Ta2O5) mixed metal oxide catalyst demonstrates high chemical stability for use in soil or freshwater. By adjusting the composition of the oxide layer, it can be used in different environments, like sea water, brackish water and mud among others. We can produce anodes with differing coating thickness and noble metal oxide ratios upon request.
Low Coating Wear Rate
The wear rate of the rod anode is extremely low and uniform. The thickness of the mixed oxide film decreases linearly with time at all points on the surface. Hence, the wear rate is constant over all current densities in both general and frequent use.
Dimensional Stability
Because the titanium substrate is naturally passivated by an oxidizing film, the rod anode remains dimensionally stable over time. Direct current transfer is accomplished through the mixed metal oxide catalyst which is highly conductive, and fully oxidized so that higher current outputs are achievable.
Strict Quality Control
By conforming to ISO 9001:2015 standards, our rod anodes are manufactured, inspected, and tested in accordance with stringent procedures to ensure high quality.
Customized Configurations
The standard rod diameters include 3.2mm, 6.4mm, 12.7mm, 19mm and 25mm. The anode is precut in one meter as standard, but may be cut to any length as required.

Ø6.4 mm | 2 A | |
Ø12.7 mm | 4 A | |
Ø19 mm | 6 A | |
